Meet the team

It takes a team of industry professionals working with carefully selected subcontractors and supply chain partners to deliver each one of our projects. You can find out more about some of the Morgan Sindall Construction team members – and learn about the roles they play in this project – below.

Jon Daines Area Director

My key aim is to ensure projects are managed and completed to a high quality, to customers’ expectations, on time and within budget. I am highly experienced and dedicated to construction management, with excellent motivation skills. I am a champion of best practice across the company aiding a smooth project experience. A board member of the shared apprenticeship scheme, I am passionate about training and actively involved in promoting the social value and community benefits of our work.

Rob Easton Project Manager

My role is to lead and plan projects to ensure they meet agreed specifications, health, safety, environment and quality requirements, budgets and timescales. I provide direction, motivation and leadership to all involved, and ensure neighbour and community liaison runs as smoothly as possible.

I am very proud of my record at Morgan Sindall Construction which, across 11 projects, includes three National Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards and six Performance Beyond Compliance Awards.

Dale Miller Senior Site Manager

I take control for efficient and safe operation of our project sites, closely liaising with the site team on a daily basis to ensure they are fully advised of key activities. Key to success is promotion of relationships which encourage teamwork with suppliers and subcontractors and I will ensure that the whole team recognises and understands the key objectives set by Arts University Bournemouth. I will support Rob through all our local community initiatives.

Lee Marriner Site Manager

I am a highly dedicated and experienced site manager with key focus on health and safety. I have a keen eye for detail and always strive to go above and beyond requirements, ensuring a top quality finish. I am highly personable, forming excellent working relationships with customers, subcontractors and members of the community.

Dave Oaksford Graduate site manager

I support our project and contracts managers by managing day-to-day running of site activities. This will include daily liaison with the subcontractors, subcontractor progress reviews, ensuring health and safety on site is maintained at a consistently high standard, continuous quality checks on workmanship, the implementation and use of an effective traffic management plan and site logistics.

Richard Veale Senior Design Manager

My role is to maintain strict document control, ensuring all customer and end user requirements are considered and incorporated into final designs, using workshops to deal with key elements and project interfaces.

I am an efficient detail-driven design manager with a proven track record coordinating consultants and contractors’ designs effectively. I deliver exceptional buildings!

Neil Brennan Senior Quantity Surveyor

I ensure the smooth operation of all commercial and contractual elements on site, ensuring that all obligations are fulfilled. An exceptional communicator, I possess the ability to clearly understand AUB’s needs and ensure all members of the design team have relevant information at hand to ensure project cost plan objectives are met.

Richard Sansom Building Services Manager

I hold the ability to understand priorities for installation of the mechanical, electrical and IT systems and balance these with the construction and customer requirements. This makes me an essential member of the team. I will ensure Arts University Bournemouth requirements are correctly interpreted in the design of all systems, and that testing and commissioning is undertaken in a timely fashion. This means the project will complete when it should, and creates a smooth transition for AUB and its students.

Damian Heneghan Senior Planner

Working collaboratively with the project manager and his team, I’ll compile the project planning pack which includes co-ordinated design and construction programmes. I also manage procurement and information required schedules. In addition to pre-construction planning, I will review work activities during construction, preparing more detailed trade specific and commissioning programmes throughout.
